why we started

It all started with my love for red velvet cake.  I decided to give it a try and make it for myself.  After countless attempts I finally came up with my unique formula for my version of the red velvet cupcake.  Initially, I baked cupcakes and cakes during the holidays and special occasions for family and co-workers and people always asked "where did you buy these"?  After being asked that questions several times and seeing how much people enjoyed what I was baking and with the encouragement from my wife, I decided to turn this love into a small business. Later, we discovered that my wife has an autoimmune disease so I practiced and came up with the Gluten Free/Vegan line so she can continue to enjoy these baked goodies.  The name Regal’s Sweet Treats™ is named after our beloved Great Dane, Regal who passed early 2017.
